My new CD! With pictures!

Hello everyone,

About two weeks ago, I found the first My Chemical Romance album ´I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love´ on eBay for an extremely low prize. The CD itself was 2,50 euro´s and the shipping was 2,50 euro´s too. I ordered it immediately, and after exactly one week I got my new CD in the original packaging, completely undamaged and for 5 euro´s only! Yay!
´Bullets...´ is, as I said, the very first My Chemical Romance album from back in 2002, so I really don´t get why you would sell it for 5 euro´s. I mean, I´ve searched for it in pretty much all record stores in my city and none of them had it. And there it is, on eBay for 5 euro´s... But, well, anyway. I´ll just show you my new CD instead of just talking about the prize:

*just like last time, the pictures are taken with my mobile phone so the quality is REALLY BAD*

Front

Back

Inside

´Merci Pour Le Venin´ is ´Thank You For The Venom´ in French

The CD itself

Beautiful, right? In case you were wondering, the magazine underneath my CD is a special Kerrang! Magazine issue that has four diffrent covers, eacht one feauturing a My Chemical Romance band member. I ordered the magaines online, bacause they´re not available in the Netherlands. I put the one with Frank Iero underneath the CD because just my keybord would be kinda boring.

I LOOOOVE my new CD. Some of my favourite My Chemical Romance songs, like Vampires Will Never Hurt You, Our Lady Of Sorrows and Early Sunsets Over Monroeville are among the eleven tracks.

See you next time!

PS: As you probably figured out, I like shopping online. I´ve ordered some stuff lately which hasn´t arrived yet, but I´ll make a post as soon as I have them.

New Superband Featuring Dom

Reports are starting to trickle in regarding the formation of a new superband, dubbed 'Expensive Love'. The band is rumoured to include Alex Carapetis (associated w/ Nine Inch Nails), Dominic Howard, Mark Stoermer (The Killers), Ray Suen (Flaming Lips) and Jason Hill (Louis XIV).

The news was originally announced on Jason Hill's Facebook page, with the message:

Hi All,

I’ll be playing my new material for the first time on July 15 in Silverlake, CA at Satellite (formally Spaceland). I’ve been working on an album for two years with some friends of mine and we are almost done. The band playing on July 15 is Alex Carapetis, Dominic Howard(from Muse), Mark Stoermer (from Killers), Ray Suen (Flaming Lips), Sam Gendel on Sax and myself. The show will probably sell quick so I wanted to tell all my friends first before it goes public. Hope you can make the fun. Stay tuned for bits of music to be released coming soon. The album is the best thing I’ve ever done. The band will be playing on July 15 under the name EXPENSIVE LOVE. Tickets can be purchased at http://www.thesatellitela.com/.

Hope to see you,
 Jason Hill

This is awesome. Unfortunately, I'm on holiday on the 15th of July, so I probably will read the reviews a few weeks after the show. Damnit.

Behind The Songs: Take A Bow

Hey everyone!

I found out that if you talk with someone about 'Take A Bow', everyone thinks you mean Take A Bow from Rihanna. And I haven't met any non-Muser (yet) who knew that Muse also made a song that's called Take A Bow, long before Rihanna did. So, that's why this Behind The Songs post is about Take A Bow, the first song on the Black Holes And Revelations album.

About Take A Bow

Take a Bow calls on world leaders to take responsibility for their actions. Muse move through three musical stages: starting off as a classical piece before moving into a techno mid-section and a heavy "apocalyptic rock" ending. Initially described "a looping epic which morphs into a gothic fairytale".
Initially called "Hex", "Take a Bow" was originally going to be at the end of the album. Two months later, Chris indicated it could become the opening track. Put first on the album because it ends in the key of B which is the key of the second track. .
Matt said in a German Interview that: "The first song "Take A Bow", is about the feeling of the little man who lost control of anything and now wants to take revenge on authority".
Wolstenholme: We wrote it at the end of the Absolution sessions, and it sounds similar [to Absolution tracks]. It has evolved a lot since then, but it’s principle remains the same: a change of periodic agreements which are at the brink of exploding. Its structure is mathematical, the main idea being a formula with neither chorus nor verse. Dom’s never played like that, with very jazzy rhythms, slow ones, followed by more chaotic bits integrated into the whole.
Take a Bow was often played as a piano interlude between Citizen Erased and Space Dementia on the Absolution tour, as well as an intro to Feeling Good on The Resistance Tour.
Take a Bow is written in 3/4 time and moves at a tempo of 130 bpm. Bellamy's vocal range in the song spans from C3 to G4 in the modal register, and up to F♯5 in falsetto; one of the wider vocal ranges in a Muse song.

My Opinion

Black Holes And Revelations is my favourite Muse album, mostly because I just love the science-fiction/Mars/alien/conspiracy-theory sound the album has, and Take A Bow is a very good example of that sound. It's also pretty electronic, and it reminds me of the band Editors -you might know them from one of my previous playlists. The lyrics are also pretty awesome: it really tells a story, which I think is very well done.

Lyrics:

Corrupt
You corrupt
And bring corruption to all that you touch

Hold
You'll behold
And beholden for all that you've done

Spell
Cast a spell
Cast a spell on the country you run

And risk
You will risk
You will risk all their lives and their souls

And burn
You will burn
You will burn in hell
Yeah, you'll burn in hell
You'll burn in hell
You'll burn in hell for your sins

Oh, our freedom's consuming itself
What we've become
Is contrary to what we want
Take a bow

Death
You bring death
And destruction to all that you touch

Pay
You must pay
You must pay for your crimes against the earth

Hex
Feed the hex
Feed the hex on the country you love

And beg
You will beg
You will beg for their lives and their souls

Yeah, and burn
You will burn
You will burn in hell
Yeah, you'll burn in hell
You'll burn in hell
Yeah, you'll burn in hell
You'll burn in hell
Yeah you'll burn in hell for your sins

I'm having some problems with posting YouTube video's, so I'll give you the link. I'll edit the post when the problem is solved.

Have fun watching (:

PS: Take A Bow is also a soundtrack in the movie 'Watchmen', just like Helena (So Long & Goodnight) from My Chemical Romance.

Album Review #1 Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys

Hello everyone,

Yes, that's right. It's time for my very first album review! You got to choose whick album I had to review, and Danger Days got the most votes. So here's my review! I'm going to talk about the album, the songs and the meaning of the album. Hope you guys like it...

Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys from My Chemical Romance

Album

Let's start with showing you what the CD looks like.

(Sorry for the bad quality, I made these pictures with my mobile phone and the quality really sucks)

The first two pictures are the front and the back of the album. Personally, I really love them because they immediately show you where the story takes place. Besides that, the pictures are really beautiful. The third (sorry, I know it's upside down, my mobile phone hates me) and the fourth, the fifth and the sixth pictures are the inside of the album. On the third pic you can see how the album looks opened: You see the CD and a small card with the BL/ind logo. The fourth pic shows the back of the card. The fifth pic shows the card when opened: it says 'Produced by Rob Cavallo and My Chemical Romance', 'Engineerd by Doug McKean' and stuff like that. The last pic is a coupon whick gives you 10% off My Chem gear at their site.

I think the album is really cool. I like the fact that the outside screams 'Killjoy!' and the inside is 'BL/ind'. It really fits well with the story.

Meaning

The album's concept is based around the lives of the "Fabulous Killjoys", in the setting of a post-apocalyptic California in the year 2019. The band's alter-egos are the four Killjoys: "Party Poison" (Gerard Way), "Jet Star" (Ray Toro), "Fun Ghoul" (Frank Iero), and "Kobra Kid" (Mikey Way), shown in the videos for "Na Na Na" and "Sing". The Killjoys are a group of outlaws who are fighting against the evil corporation Better Living Industries (BL/ind.) and it's various "Draculoids" and exterminators, such as Korse (Grant Morrison). The character aliases were originally the names of their "designer" guns. Their guide is the pirate radio DJ named Dr. Death Defying who is voiced by Steve Montano (also known by the stage name "Steve, Righ?" when performing with Mindless Self Indulgence).

The two music videos show a girl simply known as 'Little Girl' (played by young upcoming actress and singer/songwriter Grace Jeanette Clarke) and Dr. Death Defying's sidekick 'Show Pony' (played by a performer known as Ricky Rebel). '"Na Na Na" shows the Killjoys' daily lives until Korse defeats them and captures the girl, and "Sing" shows Killjoy's rescue mission to get her back; however, this mission sees the gang wiped out in the process, though the girl is taken in by Dr. Death Defying and their other allies.
A website for Better Living Industries was launched in November 2010, featuring a mission statement, a report from the Zones and a merchandise store.
Gerard Way has said the inspiration for the song was a Trans-Am car he'd seen years ago and the visual idea of it driving fast through a desert: this car is the one used in the music videos. Way has also stated "there is no story" in the album itself, with Dr. Death Defying's interludes "painting a picture of this world" and he feels the songs are quite "direct".
The final track, "Vampire Money", was a reaction to the band being asked to do a song for the film New Moon, part of the Twilight franchise. Gerard Way said that the reason the song was on the album was because "there’s a lot of people chasing that fucking money. ‘Twilight?’ A lot of people around us were like, ‘please, for the love of God, do this fucking movie.’ But we’d moved on."

I really like the fact that the album actuaaly has a story, and that it isn't just 'a bunch of songs'. Also, the story itself is well-constructed but does leave room for your own imagination. Many fans made themselves a Killjoy: they have a name (Gasoline Diamond is my Killjoy name according to the Killjoy Name Generator) a costume and a story about their life in the California desert. There are lots of (fanfic)story's about Danger Days out there, I have one myself. I think it's special how an album can do this to you, I mean, I think every MCR-fan hopes that IF the world is going to end/change dramaticly in 2012, there´s going to be a new world with Killjoys like in the album.

Songs
Track listing:
1. Look Alive, Sunshine
2. Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)
3. Bulletproof Heart
4. SING
5. Planetary (GO!)
6. The Only Hope For Me Is You
7. The Jet Star And The Cobra Kid/Traffic Report
8. Party Poison
9. Save Yourself, I'll Hold Them Back
10. S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W
11. Summertime
12. Destroya
13. The Kids From Yesterday
14. Goodnite, Dr. Death
15. Vampire Money

What can I say? I mean, I love all songs, each one of them. The order of the songs really tells the story of the Killjoys, and tracks like 'Look Alive, Sunshine' really make you feel like you're listening to the radio station from Dr. Death Defying. Everyone I know likes Na Na Na, even people that normally hate MCR. I´ve been to two My Chem concerts, and when I went to the first one, the album wasn´t out yet, everyone only knew Na Na Na and some knew SING, which was released only days before. But we loved the songs from the new album we didn´t even knew yet from the very first note they played. And that says a lot. MCR is -for some reason- known as a ´depressive emo-band´ and this album proves that´s not true.

In short: I think Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys is an awesome album. My Chemical Romance tried something new, and it worked out fantastic! I hope that all the albums after this one will be as happy and positive as Danger Days. If I had to rate this album on a scale of 1 being awful and 10 being alsolutely divine, I would give Danger Days a well-deserved 10.

Gerard Way Interview

Hello,

After reading this interview with Gerard on timeoutchicago.com I really felt like posting it. So here it is:

Gerard Way is older than he seems. He has boyish looks and hair dyed as red as horror-movie blood. The New Jersey native fronts punk band My Chemical Romance. He created a successful comic-book franchise, the Umbrella Academy. In the videos promoting his band’s latest, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, MCR sports superhero alter egos and ray guns. Surprisingly, Way turns 34 on Saturday 9. He has settled in L.A. with wife Lindsey and their two-year-old daughter, Bandit. It’s a remarkable lifestyle change for someone who says he once subscribed to the notion of “live fast, die young.”
You were born hours after the first Clash record was released.
Funny, I just found that out! I just read that literally a week ago.
You came into the world at the same time as punk. Is that why you feel a special attachment to it?
I never have. It’s weird. The only thing I’ve thought about is that’s the same year Elvis died. You have the death of traditional rock & roll and the birth of punk. Every record or band I’m drawn to is right around that period.
What feels older to you, the music of 1977 or you yourself?
It’s weird. There’s something about those recordings that doesn’t sound old. I was just having a conversation with my wife last night. The stuff we listened to in high school, you listen to them now and, whoa, it sounds horrible! Dated. You put an old Misfits record on, and it sounds like it came out yesterday.
Is music a daily conversation between you and your wife?
Absolutely. Yesterday we spent the day talking about Duran Duran.
How does that fill an entire day?
I talked about how the band was relevant when it came out, then wasn’t at all, and is now relevant again. Their lyrics are about power, greed, sex, desire, control. It was relevant then in a period of excess. We’re in a period of excess again. My wife and I, we’re trying to figure all this stuff out.
Do you argue about anything?
My God, we’ve never… Oh, oh. Biggie versus Tupac. When we got married, it was the only music we argued about. I really like Tupac. She has the same birthday as Biggie. She’s very into Biggie.
With Danger Days, you set out to make a raw punk record. It ended up completely different. What happened?
Chasing the sound of something and chasing the spirit are two very different things. I didn’t realize that on the first attempt. So there was a lot of stuff that was really dirty and raw sounding, but it didn’t have the original spirit. I often say if Iggy Pop had heard both records, I’m certain he would have chosen Danger Days. I got to do an interview with him in the middle of making the record, and he told me he was always doing the thing that people didn’t want him to do. That’s what Danger Days is. He said he took up golf just because it would bother people. There’s definitely that part of me, too. Maybe it’s because I’ve never really grown up. Well, what does everyone not want us to do? Use color. Fuck our hair up. Dress half our age.
Danger Days feels empowered by your success with comic books.
It was really informed by it. I learned a valuable lesson: You should stop separating your art.
KISS and Gorillaz can keep going and going into old age because they turned into cartoon characters. Do you envy that?
I think about it a lot. What am I going to do when I’m 40? Is that weird?
Will you change?
I know I’ll change. I’ve already changed tremendously. I’m definitely doing stuff differently onstage. I’m not injuring myself. There’s no death wish anymore. You get past the crash course and you don’t want to die. “Oh! I wanna live! I don’t want to end up one of these cats that die young.” Once you get over that, people almost immediately find you boring.
How much of this came from having a child?
It definitely cemented it. But I started to feel that way in my late twenties: “Living is awesome! Life is great.” I realized what I liked. Performance is fine, yeah, but I like to create. I didn’t want to run out of time. I just want to keep making things. If you’re not around, you’re not making anything.
Who has cooler toys, you or your daughter?
I definitely do right now. But she’s going to get them all.

American Idiot Exclusive

Hey everyone, I just found this on the Green Day site:

SINGAPORE – Tom Hanks’ Playtone Productions is set to produce an open-ended series,American Gods, for HBO, based on Neil Gaiman’s award-winning novel, while the company’s next project, Major Matt Mason, is in talks with Robert Zemeckis to direct in 3D, Playtone partner Gary Goetzman told The Hollywood Reporter.
The series-in-development, revolving around the question “are you a god if no one believes in you?” is executive produced by Goetzman and Hanks, with Bob Richardson, and Gaiman on board as executive producer and writer.
Now slated for six seasons, each season will be of 10-12, hour-long episodes with a budget of around $35-40 million per season, targeted to debut on the cable powerhouse in 2013 at the earliest.
Rich in religious folklore that spanned millennia and featuring deities from Greek and Nordic mythology, and even the Judeo-Christian monotheistic God making an appearance, in the contemporary U.S., American Gods will be effects-heavy to do justice to the awe-inspiring power of the divine beings. “There are some crazy things in there. We’ll probably be doing more effects in there than it’s been done on a television series,” said Goetzman.
But materializing much sooner than the deities on earth series will be Playtone’s next Hanks-starring project, the toy-to-screen Major Matt Mason, in 3D.
The producers are in talks with frequent Hanks collaborator in Forrest Gump and The Polar Express, Robert Zemeckis, to direct a screenplay written by Hanks and Graham Yost for Universal.
The live-action family film about space adventure, with a tentative budget of over $100 million, is based on a Mattel action figure. It would be the second 3D production for Playtone, which produced with Imax in 2005 the documentary Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon 3D, co-written, co-produced and narrated by Hanks.
After the gods and the space adventurer comes the idiot. Besides American Gods, Playtone is also developing American Idiot, a screen version of the Broadway musical adapted from Green Day’s eponymous concept album, for 2013 premiere.
Director Michael Mayer of the stage version will direct the movie, while Billie Joe Armstrong will reprise his Broadway role as St. Jimmy in the movie version. The adaptation is Playtone’s second musical after the blockbuster hit, Mamma Mia!, which grossed over $600 million worldwide.
“Mamma Mia! proved that if the musical is right, obviously it can go into the stratosphere, as far as box office gross. We’re always looking for musicals,” said Goetzman, whose company also owns the films rights of Spring Awakening, which the partners are planning to produce in an independent way.
“If we can do that, it’d be a genre that’s as respected as any produced by the studios. Maybe there will be three musicals a year, maybe five. I think that’s important otherwise we’d just have this tentpole mentality where if it’s not based on a comic book or cost $200 million, you're stacked in like pillars. We need all these genres to be respected and we need the studios not to be afraid of them,” he said.
“Studios are afraid of adult movies for a couple of years now, but I felt at the end of last year with The King’s Speech and so many films that did well, they might wake up the studios up with the fact that the adult drama can still be a viable picture to make. You can’t just cut down the film business to horror films, tentpole action, and really stupid comedies. You’ve got to do other stuff. As we know, the film business is always in a state of flux anyway, so it’s in their best interest to understand that whatever you think that’s the greatest kind of movie to make, it will change,” adds Goetzman.
Goetzman and Hanks are in Singapore for the closing night premiere of Larry Crowne at ScreenSingapore.
The comedy, which Hanks wrote along with Nia Vardalos and starred in with his Charlie Wilson’s War co-star Julia Roberts, is the first feature film Hanks directed since 1996’s That Thing You Do! The film is scheduled for release on July 1, which serves as counter-programming to the superhero blockbuster summer season from Independence Day weekend.
“I really feel like more people are going to the movies that don’t necessarily want to see a superhero picture, and this gives them a great alternative to go to see two big movies star in a fun romantic comedy, rooted in real issues but still entertaining,’ said Goetzman.
The issues are indeed real and they certainly seem bleak – Hanks’ store staff character goes to college after he was made redundant; Roberts’ character, who became Hanks’ teacher in college, resorted to drinking, having to face crowds of ignorant and apathetic students – a premise that might seem too close to home in recession bound America.
“It’s a line that Tom had to ride in writing it that it was a subject that is in America and in many parts of the world right now, but the best way to tell a story sometimes is with humor. There’s so much humor and hope in it, and good feelings about it, he accomplished that in that it’s a story that’s rooted in reality, but still a very fun movie. Sometimes we just have to say, ‘hey, you know what? You’re gonna work it out. It’s not going to go away tomorrow, but stay out there, and be hopeful, buy a scooter!”

A movie from American Idiot would be so awesome. I hope it's going to be in the cinemas all over the world, not just in America. I would die to see the movie. What do you think?

On The Web #12

Hello everyone,

At first, sorry for not posting the past few days, but I've stayed at a relative's house and it would've been a bit impolite to spend my time behind the computer. But I'm back, with a new On The Web post.

This post is about an awesome Tumblr: Fuck Yeah Dyed Hair the name speaks for itself, the Tumblr is filled with pictures from people with dyed hair. Most of the pictures are from people who dyed their hair in the most awesome colours imaginable. I still don't know what I'm going to do with my hair, but this Tumblr gave me lots of new inspiration for sure! If you want to dye your hair, or just like pictures of people with hair cooler that yours, check the Tumblr out. Here are some pictures from FYDH:

Isn't that awesome?

Happy Birthday Matthew Bellamy!

Hello,

Today, Matt Bellamy turns 33. Like he's ever going to read this, but anyway: Happy Birthday Matt!
I found this really cool picture of Matt and a dog, and I think it fits into this post very well.

Source: Weheartit.com

Isn't that the cutest thing ever?
Anyway, if you feel like it, just sing 'happy birthday to you' for Matt :D
See you next time!

On The Web #11

Hey everyone!

It's been ages since my last On The Web post, so it was about time for a new one. Fortunately, I've found an awesome Tumblr just a few days ago. It's called The Little Muser Things, and the title says it all.
"This is a blog for all the little Muser moments that make us all happy.''
And yes, all the posts on the blog made me go 'I have that too!' or 'I know that too!', really funny. Here are some examples:

For the non-Musers reading this, watch the video below

If you're not a Muser, I don't think you'll like the Tumblr. Some of the things -like 'When Matt has a new favourite shirt'- are stuff that only fans like me get - the people that check Muse.mu, Muselive.com, MuseWiki.org, know all funny moments, all quotes, and all the songs, you know. But even if you're not a Muser and you do like Muse a lot, you might like some of the things anyway.
Here's the link to this awesome Tumblr: http://littlemuserthings.tumblr.com/

And that's it for this post. See you next time!

Fashion From My Perspective: The Traditional Goth

Hey everyone,

As you've probably noticed, I've had a poll going on about what my next Fashion From My Perspective post should be about. Most people voted for Traditional Goth, so here's my new post!

The Traditional Goth. Whether they were actually around in the 80s or not, the Traditonal Goth most values the traditional scene from its earliest days, when it began to evolve from Punk.

Trad Goths venerate those original Goth bands - Bauhaus, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Birthday Party, The Sisters of Mercy and anything played in the infamous Batcave club. Other influential bands (e.g. The Velvet Underground) may also be revered as minor deities.

Fashion is, naturally, based on the look from the period, which itself was heavily influenced by Punk - fishnets, leather jackets, piercings - in addition to heavy make-up, HUGE hair and the occassional bit of bondage gear. And, of course, lots of black. When not listening to their extensive record collection, TradGoths may be found enjoying a snakebite & black and a clove cigarette at the local “goth” pub or club.

Sadly, Trad Goths often believe that Goth is, appropriately, dead, and the modern scene offers little consolation. New “goth” music genres such as EBM are perhaps their biggest pet peeve.

Personally, I really like the Traditional Goths. I mean, they're the ones that started the whole subculture, and they did a pretty good job. I also really like the music: Bauhaus, Siouxie And The Banshees, The Cure, Velvet Underground, The Clash... I like them.

If you want to look like a Trad Goth, you need to look for clothes from the 80's in second hand or charity shops. Of course Trad Goths wore lots of black, but I've also seen pictures of Trad Goths wearing red, blue, green, pink, yellow or any other colour, and rocking it. Whatever colour you choose, add some accessories like fishnets, spiked wristbands, necklages with bats, ankhs or a Pentagram, belts, gloves and so on.

Something else is the big hair. I'm pretty sure everyone has teased their hair once, but doing it like the Trad Goths takes lots of effort, and lots of hairspray. And it's not very healthy for your hair, too. If you want to try it anyway, I've found an article on www.hairboutique.com about 'Backombed Hairstyling Tips', with teasing (backombing) instructions:

1.   Begin by making sure that super curly or wavy tresses are flat ironed or blow dried straight.  Although curls and waves will create major height and volume, they will also have a tendency to be more easily damaged.  Avoid backcombing hair that has any natural texture to prevent excessive tangling.
2.   If hair is flat ironed before it is backcombed, be sure that the strands are 100% cool before teasing.  Strands that are still warm or hot will break or rip  easier.
3.   Begin by using a soft boar’s head brush or similar natural bristle brush to make sure that all knots and tangles are completely removed from all strands before backcombing.  Never backcomb strands that are not first detangled completely.
4.   Using a rattail or metal comb or teasing brush, part off a section of hair from the rest of the strands. Clip the remaining hair out of the way.
5.   Using your hands in conjunction with a comb or brush, gather a small section of hair approximately 1-2 inches in thickness.

Note: Use smaller strands for tighter results or larger strands for looser results.

6.   Hold the ends of the new section straight up and out from the scalp with one hand.  In essence you will be backcombing your strands in the opposite direction from its natural growth pattern.
7.   With the other hand, run the comb down the length of the hair from the end towards the base of the scalp in short, sharp and uniform strokes.
8.  If you don't achieve enough teased hair or height in the first pass, repeat the process until the hair has the right fullness, height and texture.
9.   Spray newly teased sections with a firm hold hairspray.
10. Once the first section is completely teased, pick up the next section of hair and repeat the process until all of the desired sections of hair have been completely backcombed.
11.   Use a firm hairspray to completely spray all of the teased hair when the backcombing is complete.
12.   Using both hands carefully smooth the teased hair back in the opposite direction making sure there is a lot of height in the desired area of the hair.

Lots of Trad Goths also used loads of make-up, like black lipstick and heavy eyeliner, but that's not something necessary. Something that was populair amongst the scene was to look pale. And even now most Goths like to. This isn't very hard, I mean, Manic Panic (you probably know the brand because of it's hairdye) has a range of make-up products which also includes pressed powder in very light shades, ranging from pale flesh to white. You can buy this powder in some alt shops, or on the internet.

So, I think I've now told you everything I know about the Traditional Goth. I hope this was interesting, and I wish all of you good luck with making your own Trad Goth outfit :)
See you next time!
