Fashion From My Perspective: H&M

Hello everyone!

Yes, this Fashion From My Perspective post will be about H&M. I suppose everyone has been there once in their life -or at least knows it- and maybe you've even brought something there. I've been going to H&M for at least eight years, and even though I've changed a lot throughout the years, H&M -for me- has always been a shop where I can go to and find an outfit that I like, no matter what my style is. I know some of you just don't go there because it's some awful hipster shop where they only sell weird brown-coloured stuff and hoodies with horse-prints, but that's not true at all. If you look carefully you'll see that they sell things in H&M that are beyond awesome.

A smart thing to do is to check out your local H&M store often -I do it almost every weekend. Because the diffrent collections change every week or two, they have new clothes all the time.
Another thing about H&M is; they sometimes sell stuff that's overpriced (their pants are 40 euro's most of the time. I think that's alot) but they also sell nice things that are only 5 euro's or even less. Clothes are even cheaper when it's sale, it's a good idea to go shopping at H&M when it's sale. It's a great way to save money, if you -like me- have an expensive taste (brands like Hell Bunny, Living Dead Souls, Cupcake Cult and bandshirts are expensive).
Don't know about your city, but mine has 5 diffrent H&M stores. And there's only one that I often go to. So also try to look at the diffrent stores in your city, because apparently there is a H&M where they mostly sell work-clothes, a store for men only, a store where they sell underwear and pyjama's, a kids store, and a store where they sell stuff for teens and people who like Nirvana and the Ramones (like me).

Okay, now comes the fun part. I'm going to show you what I've brought at H&M in the past couple of years, plus the price. Please forgive the weird angle of the pictures and stuff, but I almost got myself killed beause I had to stand on an office chair to get my whole bed (with Harry Potter duvet cover, you can't see it properly but well) on the photo and I nearly fell of a few times.

First, my shirts, tops, hoodies, etc.:

Black zipper hoodie - €20
Pink shirt with pocket - €9,95
(I brought that for school okay, I needed it because someone wanted us to sing a song and wear happy colours so I was like 'fuck the system' and I brought pink. Don't know what I'm doing with my life but okay)
Black ribcage shirt - €10
Black shirt with pocket - €9,95
Ramones shirt - €15
Nirvana shirt - €15
Black sweater with white stars - €25
Black shirt with buttons - €20
Basic black top - €9,95
Top with smiley - €20
Nirvana top - €20
Black lace top - €9,95
Black top with silver skull - €5
Black basic top - €9,95

And my jeans/trousers/skirts:

Black legging - €25
Olive leopard print skinny jeans - €10
Grey jeans with patches - €40
Dark jeans - €20
Ripped jeans - €40
Tutu skirt - €25
Black jeans - €20
Black leather immitation jeans - €40

I also brought this dress for the Christmas Ball at my school.
I only never got to wear it there because I was ill. I did wore it at Christmas with my family though.
It cost me €19,95 which may very well be the cheapest dress I've ever brought. I intended to wear it with an underbust black corset, but I didn't because you can eat more without one, haha.
I brought this set of bracelets a while ago for €7,50

This is a picture I took over two years ago with my phone. It's a pair of pants I brought for €40 and I've worn it at least three times a week for two years straight, until the red became pink and it had a hole in it.
I also used to have a really cool red t-shirt with suspenders print and a print with roses that said 'be true to your dreams, Queen of Rock' but I can't find a picture of it.

I hope this post was interesting, and I wish all of you lots of fun on your next shopping trip!

xoxo
